The redevelopment of the Northern Beaches Health Service (NBHS) Community Centres comprises of the reconfiguration and consolidation of community health services in an integrated and networked model across the Northern Beaches Health Service, Sydney.
The Brookvale Community Health Centre was one of three community health service hubs and brings together a critical mass of services, workforce, technology and resources to serve as a base from which these services are delivered or outreach from. The design for the three campuses was based on extensive consultation by McConnel Smith & Johnson and the Consultant team to reflect and support key planning and design principles. All sites offer Rehabilitation services, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy. The centres provide individual therapy for acute conditions and group classes for the management of chronic conditions.
